Recently we’ve been working with local contractors James Cyf on external work on our homes in Maes Gwyndy, Trawsfynydd and Y Glynnor, Gellilydan.
Re-roofing work was done, applying external wall insulation to improve the energy efficiency of the homes, re-render to modernize and improve
the appearance and install new doors and windows.
As part of the building work with James Cyf we’ve ensured that the community benefits, as part of the community benefit of this scheme,
James Cyf donated money to two local schools, Ysgol Bro Hedd Wyn, Trawsfynydd and Ysgol Edmwnd Prys, Gellilydan.
Ysgol Bro Hedd Wyn used the money to buy flower pots to go outside the school whilst Ysgol Edmwnd Prys decided to upgrade their sports kit with the money.
They bought new football goals and a basket ball post.
